This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs your use of DruScan, a service provided by Menetray OÜ. By using DruScan, you agree to comply with this Policy. Violation of this Policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.
1. Authorised Use
DruScan is a monitoring service designed to scan Drupal websites and provide reports on performance, security, SEO, and configuration status.
You may only use DruScan to scan websites that you have legitimate access to administer. This includes websites you own or websites belonging to your clients where you have been granted administrative access to manage and maintain the site.
Authorisation to scan a website is established through the installation of our Drupal module. If you have the necessary access to install and configure the DruScan module on a website, you are considered authorised to scan that website through our service.
You must not use DruScan to scan websites without proper authorisation. Scanning websites you do not have permission to administer is strictly prohibited.
2. Supported Platforms
DruScan only supports Drupal websites that are compatible with our contributed Drupal module. Currently, this means websites running supported versions of Drupal (Drupal 10 and later versions).
Drupal 7 websites are not supported as this version has reached end of life.
Attempting to use the service with unsupported platforms or manipulating the system to bypass platform restrictions is not permitted.
3. Usage Limits
Each subscription plan includes specific limits on the number of scans and API calls you can make within daily and monthly periods. These limits are clearly stated in your plan details and are designed to accommodate normal usage patterns.
There is no limit on the number of projects you can add to your account. You may have any combination of free and paid projects under a single account. Each project operates according to the features and limits of its respective plan, which determines scan frequency and data retention periods.
You agree to use the service within the limits of your subscription plan. If your usage consistently exceeds your plan limits, you should consider upgrading to a higher tier plan.
4. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited when using DruScan:
Scanning websites without authorisation from the website owner or without legitimate administrative access.
Attempting to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security features or usage limits of the service.
Using automated tools, scripts, or bots to access the service in ways that exceed normal usage patterns or that could negatively impact service performance for other users.
Making excessive API calls from a single website or IP address beyond what is reasonable for normal operation. Our API limits are designed to be permissive for standard use cases, but abuse of the API will not be tolerated.
Sharing your account credentials with third parties or allowing others to access the service through your account in violation of your subscription terms.
Using the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of DruScan or its associated module.
Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the service or the data contained therein.
5. Consequences of Violation
We reserve the right to take action against accounts that violate this Policy. Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, we may take one or more of the following actions:
Issue a warning requesting that you cease the prohibited activity.
Temporarily suspend your account or specific projects until the issue is resolved.
Permanently terminate your account without prior notice.
Block IP addresses that are making excessive or abusive API calls.
In cases of serious violations, such as scanning websites without authorisation or deliberately attempting to harm our service, we may terminate your account immediately without warning.
6. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violation of this Policy, or if you believe your website is being scanned through DruScan without your authorisation, please contact us at [email protected]. We take all reports seriously and will investigate accordingly.
7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of DruScan after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
